Mother’s Day 2021 Quilted Fabric Card

Mother’s Day is always a special day dedicated to thank our mothers all over the world. Probably a day to celebrate is not even close to how thankful we are for their unceasing love towards us and family. Hopefully this quilted fabric card adds to this day of our reciprocated love to our mums.

You would have realised by now that there is no word in this card because a picture speaks a thousand words and languages. The blank space behind is for you to fill it in with your own words (or your drawings).

A flower in the heart represents mother. I tend to associate plants with mother nature and I love flowers.

A sweet pink fabric with different prints shows the different aspects of our mothers. They have a beautiful side of them but they also have the ‘not so pleasant’ side of them (they are just humans). However, and whatever personalities they have, they are our mothers.

A heart represents love – hers and ours. A red batik fabric is used to show the different shades of red.

A white leafy background – a mother’s love is always so pure. There’s no other agenda to bring us up but it is in her nature to love and care for us.
